Beginning with building a tour itinerary together, through the recruitment and registration process, and culminating in pre-departure collaboration regarding your performance and travel details, our specialists will work in partnership with you throughout the entire process.  There are no pre-fabricated tours.  Your trip is customized to meet the unique strengths and goals of your ensemble, including their size, budget, ages, and interests.  Each travel program is as finely composed as the music your group will be performing.

Before you travel, you’ll be well informed of progress as we confirm specific tour information regarding performance venues, flight schedules, hotels and other travel details.  Regular program updates and pre-departure informational materials ensure consistent communication for both you and your ensemble.

While on tour, feel secure in the fact that your tour manager escorts are in constant contact with our overseas offices.  Should any problem arise, Tumlare team members are available throughout Europe and the United States to assist.  In addition, there is the safeguard provided with our 24/7 Emergency Hotline for those who remain at home.

We are committed to partnering with our clients to ensure successful performance tours that you can take pride in, before, during and after your trip.  We look forward to checking in on you while you are abroad, and sharing in a full tour review upon your return.

The Rossio, Dom Pedro IV Square

DESTINATION:  Lisbon, Portugal

Located on the eastern shores of Portugal, Lisbon is known for being one of the oldest cities in the world, predating other modern European capitals such as London, Paris, and Rome. The major music of Lisbon is that of Fado, meaning destiny or fate in Portuguese. There are many forms of this emotional and expressive music genre, which can be traced back to the early 1820’s.

FUN FACT:  Lisbon’s first trams were inaugurated in 1873, and nicknamed “Americanos” notating the origin of the world’s first passenger street cars.

2018 Celebrates Tumlare's 46th year of unparalleled success in arranging tour support throughout Europe!
What’s with the dolphins?

We are often asked about our logo and mascots, “What’s with the dolphins?”…”You are specialists in performance and education tours, right?  Or are you an aquarium?”  And our answer is always, “It’s a long story. Yes. NO.”
