DESTINATION: Madrid, Spain
This lively metropolis can be recognized for its history, showcased in such establishments as the Prado Museum, Bullfighting Museum, and the Reina Sofia (home to Picasso’s heart-wrenching painting “Guernica”). Madrid is also well-known for being the hub of Spanish nightlife, where the ‘fiestas’ are unmatched in comparison. A local tradition, authentic ‘tapas’ food is also something not to be missed.
FUN FACT: If you are a fan of good weather, you should note that there are more cloudless days in Madrid then almost any other city in Europe.
